Задание #2

Ответьте письменно на следующие вопросы

  1. You have a project named “Project XYZ”. Your Customer`s name is Tom.

You work using Scrum methodology with iterations every two weeks.

The deadline for results delivering on the current iteration is this week, Friday. Today is Tuesday; when communicating with the team you have realized, that you won`t be able to meet the deadline.

Please, write the letter to your Customer and inform him about the problem.

  1. You have a project named “Project ABC”, which implies the development of an application that allows processing requests for services. The application is already used by several companies. The Customer sends you a request to add to the application four new features: A, B, C, D. He asks you to estimate how many hours it will take to make the above-mentioned features available to the end-users. How will you estimate? How will you count the time you need to complete this scope of work? (You can describe all the options that you consider necessary and possible).

In what form you will send the estimation to the Customer?

What will you write in a cover letter?

  1. You have a subordinate, who regularly breaks his own estimations for tasks and does not warn you beforehand about these breaches. Do you consider this as a problem? If yes, please, describe your actions to fix the problem.
